He done very well his job, gave so many informations about Abu-Dabi and other places also, told shot history UAE was so polite☺️
– the driver was extremely rude
– 45 mins is not enough time for the Grand Mosque as it took 25 mins just to get in past the security gates and there was an influx of people and the driver was not understanding of this, instead he went on to argue with us that we took too long and he had to pay for parking.
Because he was upset we decide to skin on going to the Museum to compensate the loss of the time ad to keep the tour moving.
– after the Emirate palace tour and drive past the Presidential palace her forcefully took us to a Pakistani restaurant which a cheap buffet and he demanded we eat there. as it was a shared tour my family and i waited for the rest of the group which ate and agreed we would eat at the stop over at Marina Mall. This lunch stop was to be for 45mins at this pakistani restaurant but ended up over an hour and the drier decided he was cancelling our several stops eg ( marina mall, dates market and heritage village insisting we had wasted his time).
Upset my this i contacted the agency who did nothing but apologise and said they would talk to the driver. after this call he became rather aggressive and more rude saying i reported him to his boss and that he was cutting out items. i explained to him that i had paid for a service and was within my rights to provide feedback to the company if i was not happy. he was rude for the rest of the tour and didn’t even speak to us aside from the Filipino lady touring with us. we drove in silence for the rest of the tour and he only gave us 20 mins stop at Ferrari world instead of 45mins threatening to leave the group if we delayed as he wanted to go home and was upset with us.
This was probably the most disappointing tour ever and my sister and had looked forward to it as we had planned it for my mother.
My take back from this
– the driver was cutting time to save on money from parking so he could pocket it. ( 90% of the tour he complained on how he needed to pay for parking so we needed to hurry up
– the need more experienced guides who actually speak fluent English
– there was definitely some fraudulent activity going on as mid tour he claimed he needed all our cash for the tour to spot and make a payment at the office in abudhabi and once i contacted his boss on this he got annoyed and said no need to stop and pay. the office is in dubai. This didn’t add up at all.
the saddest part is the company itself offered no compensation for this.
